Tribe of Jubal’s debut album, T'mme Yakinso, hit the Australian marketplace yesterday (Thursday 19th July 2007). Expect the CD to be distributed throughout Melanesia within the next 2 months. The first CD was hand-delivered by Adam Delaney to Ben Hakalitz.

"What a feeling. It’s so great to see the CD. I can't wait to get on stage for the show at the Cairns Civic Theatre. I am grateful for everyone involved, especially the tribal family; Pius Wasi, Toni Allayialis, Airi Ingram, Richard Mogu and Vanessa Quai." said Ben.

The CD will be officially launched at a concert on 31 August 2007 at the world-class Cairns Civic Theatre (tickets are on sale via www.ticketlink.com) Australia. Describing the recording Ben said: "Something about playing music from your heart, with your own style, that makes you want to work and work all night until you feel it’s perfect. Vanessa and Toni are superb singers."

Tribe of Jubal’s music is an extraordinary blend of Tribal-cool, ethno-fusion Melanesian funk Melan’Funk. The band captures Melanesian traditional rhythms with contemporary sound and the audience at the launch can expect a spectacular atmosphere of traditional harps, flutes, horns, warups, garamuts (drums) and kundus, seamlessly grooved with contemporary jazz and funk creations. Tribe of Jubal puts on a performance that is unique, entertaining and energetic. The Band derives its inspiration from ballads, legends, nature, children’s song and dance from the thousands of tribes in Papua New Guinea. The arrangements have a contemporary brilliance about them.

"This band will create a Tsunami in the Pacific. They have great potential to go global. You cannot describe the genre without falling into cliches like fusion, tribal, jazz and funky. This album is well structured. I recognise the remarkable work done by Sound Engineer, Tim Cole in this regard. The album is an awesome blend of 40,000 years of Melanesian rhythms with what’s modern, contemporary and cool." said Adam Vai Delaney, Manager of the band.

"We want to take this opportunity to also thank the Pacific Islands Trade and Investment Commission in Sydney for their support on the post-Civic Show event." said Adam, on behalf of the band.
