Vanessa Quai, lead vocalist for world-class, Melanesian funk Band, Tribe of Jubal, arrived in Cairns early Tuesday morning (21 August) with her Father, Nigel Quai, and were met on arrival by Band Manager, Adam Vai Delaney (pictured below).
Vanessa and Nigel travelled from Vanuatu to Australia for the Tribe of Jubal’s concert at the Cairns Civic Theatre on 31st August. Other band members, Pius Wasi and Richard Mogu, are expected to arrive in Cairns from Papua New Guinea on Tuesday evening to join Ben Hakalitiz, and prepare for a live studio interview and performance on ABC Far North Radio.
Other band members will arrive in Cairns from various locations in Australia towards the end of the week.
